My Bio with Interview Questions

I was born in Indiana and have lived in various places
over the years including Tennessee, Kentucky,
Florida, Alabama and presently reside in Cedar Hill
TX in Dallas County. My wife, Martha, and I have two
children and two grandchildren. My career working in
Human Resources and Public Relations management
allowed me to write and publish magazines for
Siemens Electronics and other manufacturing
companies for whom I worked. I became interested in
research work and writing as an author after taking
early retirement. Studying the mysterious quantum
physics world in respect to the Christian Bible became
intriguing to me after I heard some ministers say the
Multiverse with parallel worlds is inconsistent with the
Bible. Most people don’t understand much about the
small quantum world, and many don’t understand
much about fully applying Christian principles in their
daily lives. I found the Multiverse is not inconsistent
with the Bible.

1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself and your book?

I was born in Indiana and have lived in various places
over the years including Tennessee, Kentucky,
Florida, Alabama and presently reside in Cedar Hill
TX in Dallas County. My wife, Martha, and I have two
children and two grandchildren. My career working in
Human Resources and Public Relations management
allowed me to write and publish magazines for
Siemens Electronics and other manufacturing
companies for whom I worked. I became interested in
research work and writing as an author after taking
early retirement. Studying the mysterious quantum
physics world in respect to the Christian Bible became
intriguing to me after I heard some ministers say the
Multiverse with parallel worlds is inconsistent with the
Bible. Most people don’t understand much about the
small quantum world, and many don’t understand
much about fully applying Christian principles in their
daily lives. I found the Multiverse is not inconsistent
with the Bible.

2. What is your book about? What is your premise?

The introduction of quantum physics is done in a
simple manner that helps the reader better
understand the principles in the Christian Bible as
contrasted with the quantum world. Equations and

other mathematical complexities are not included. It
simply draws conclusions from the physicist’s genius
calculations and research. You don’t have to know
anything about quantum physics or the Bible to
understand this book. For example, a 5 th grader can
understand what is being said.
Simply said, you learn through prayer and the
possibility of parallel worlds, how you can solve
personal problems and reach life goals in ways that
would otherwise never be possible. Chapters two and
three highlight this subject. There is also a lot of
information on other world religions explaining
differences.

3. What was your favorite part of writing this book?

I heard ministers say more than once that parallel
worlds are contradictory to the Bible, and loved by
atheists, because to them if anything is possible…no
God is needed. I strongly believe in science and
concluded that if these quantum scientists are correct,
their theories on a multiverse can’t contradict the
Bible. There can only be one truth. So, I became
intrigued to do research to see if it did in fact
contradict the Bible and found that it does not
contradict.
Since quantum physics is difficult for the layman
reader to understand I conducted a lot of research to
simplify the reading. The book never gets into the
complicated equations of scientists, and simply

explains what their mathematical calculations show or
indicate. Quantum equations are far beyond the
average reader’s comprehension, so I left that to rest
with the genius of quantum physicists. However, my
book research draws conclusions from what the
scientists discovered. For example, if one quantum
physics book didn’t provide an easy-to- understand
written description, I then read two or three more
quantum physics books until I could construct a
description that the layman reader could more easily
understand. So, my book helps the reader in simple
words better understand the quantum world.
I also enjoyed researching the Bible to understand if
any part of quantum physics contradicts it, and see if I
could show scriptures that may hint at the possibility
of parallel worlds existing. I found that it does not
contradict, and in fact does provide some hints of
parallel world possibilities.
I researched the meaning of many Bible scriptures
and
provide an in depth understanding for the reader of
scriptures that help the reader apply those verses to
everyday lives. They can then better solve life
problems and achieve their goals. In other words, it
helps the individual apply what they learn.

4. Was it easy for you to come up with the title of the book?

No, it was not easy. At one point I was going to call it

‘A Quantum View of the Bible’, but then realized it was
more than that. I studied in depth as much as I could
find on other religions in the world. Then I compared
those religious writings with the written word of the
Bible. The reader can better understand what the
differences are in the various world religions. So,
after realizing this I settled on the name ‘A Quantum
View’.

5. Do you respond to your fans’ messages or letters?

Yes, my website ‘author-devin-harper.com’ has a
page that allows someone to ask questions to clarify
things they may not understand fully about the
quantum world, or the Bible and other religions.
There is also a Facebook group ‘Devin Harper’s
Quantum View’ where a community forum exists for
questions and discussions.

6. If you were to expand on a single topic from the
book, which topic would you choose?

Sanctification would be it. The progress we make
spiritually. I would like to have had the ability to show
more as to how someone may apply Bible principles
to their everyday life. Prayer runs parallel with
understanding how the quantum world is designed,
which in turn helps them solve problems and achieve
personal goals.

7. Has writing and publishing this book changed
the way you perceive yourself?

Yes. I am grateful for what I learned about the
quantum world and the ingenuity of quantum
physicists. They have uncovered principles that
earned them great respect from their peers, and
other people interested in the quantum world.
It also changed my perception of Biblical principles
and
how the scriptures may hint at personal actions
interacting with the quantum world as we seek
spiritual
growth.

8. Would anyone in your family disapprove or
disagree with anything you’ve written?

When I first started researching the science of the
quantum world and especially parallel worlds, my
family had difficulties accepting that part. ‘Parallel
worlds’ was science fiction to them. However, as
more news documentaries like those of physicists
Brian Green and Michio Kaku became common on
PBS and other networks, my family became
interested in looking more closely at what I was
researching. For example, I would read portions of
the book to my wife, Martha, and she became very
helpful in simplifying the wording. Today my family is
very supportive of my writing efforts and the
conclusions found in the research.

9. How would you describe yourself in three words?

Kind, determined, and empathetic. I try to display
kindness in approaching others. I’m goal orientated
and through practicing forbearance and
determination, I try to avoid taking the wrong steps. I
have a lot of empathy and respect for other people’s
thoughts.

10. Where can people purchase your book?

It is available from Amazon Books as an eBook and
Paperback. It can also be ordered on my website:
‘author-devin-harper.com’ .
